Breaking Bad is an American television crime drama that premiered from January 20, 2008 to September 29, 2013 on cable channel AMC. Over the course of five seasons consisting of 62 episodes, the show tells the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a schoolteacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Along with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), he begins manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future.
The series was staged and filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
